How to add your own images to the Materials in PSP...

I guess I almost had it, but ran into some problems regarding saving it............I mean you could see in the pattern palette as long as the picture was up, but if you shut down the program and open it up again, it is gone......had no problem saving it in Photoshop, so I wonder what went wrong here.......

As you can see from some of my photoshop pictures, it wasn't very difficult to find out how to change the text, make it go up or down and things like that......but I kind of didn't figure it out in PSP yet.......kind of a silly question I know........

Something I found very useful, if you are inserting the same text on a lot of images, cross of Remember Text, that way you don't have to type it over and over again........maybe just a little thing, but it sure speed things up........

In one of the pictures from Busch Gardens, the eye was not visible in the picture......so after I cropped it, I used the feature one step........maybe sometimes that is all it takes to make a huge difference......

Well, so today I thought I should try to be brave and do something else.....so I opened up a beach picture, then opened up one of the bunny pictures and managed (quite a miracle) to cut him from the picture and merge him on to the beach picture........and I did a couple of other little things too.....but all in all, not too bad for a rookie.......

Adding a frame to your picture in Photoshop Elements...

Once you have your picture up.......go to Artwork and Effects...in the little box, scroll down to Frames...

Then select the frame you want.....click Apply

Then I just crop until the only thing is the picture with the frame........this is how I have done it anyway......it worked well for me...

I hate Photoshop *sticks tongue out at photoshop*. Downloaded that free trial thinking well if I like it I might consider the PSElements. But OMG its harder then Paintshop ever was. One question I have is how do you apply a frame? In PSP they are stored in your frames and you just select it. In Paintshop its beyond me.

Just practice......

Difference in functions between paint shop & photo shop

I have paint shop pro and am fairly proficient in it from a graphics point of view. However I admit that when it comes to photo processing I probably haven't tried all the functions that are available. The thing I've been thinking about is that when I read any articles on post processing they all tell you how to do things in photo shop or PS elements (dunno if there the same things). Well I had a look at getting it but the price is like £500 and so I can't justify replacing my...
